A Dungeon Crawler Carl TV show is officially headed to Peacock, according to reports from Variety.
The rights to a Dungeon Crawler Carl series were acquired by Universal International Studios last year, and Chris Yost was attached to write and executive produce the series. Seth MacFarlane will also executive produce with his Fuzzy Door company.
Just like the book series, the Dungeon Crawler Carl TV show will follow Carl and his ex-girlfriend’s cat, Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk as they fight their way through an alien-run, AI-powered dungeon, fighting monsters and other humans for the entertainment of the universe.
There are currently seven books in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series, with book eight coming out on May 12 and two more books planned. While we don’t have an expected date for the series to launch on Peacock, best believe we will be sitting on the couch ready to stream it when we do. Until then, we can all do another reread of the books.
