Star Wars Day is here (May the 4th be with you!), and that means even more exciting products and intergalactic content is hitting the internet.
We already knew about tons of great Star Wars Day initiatives leading up to today — new product releases, The Rise of Skywalker on Disney+, and a new BTS docuseries about The Mandalorian, to name a few — but a few companies kept their releases under Imperial guard until today.
Check out some of our favorite May 4 news below, from data to must-have merch!
New Star Wars x Barbie
The first round of Star Wars x Barbie dolls debuted last August, and now fans have four more fashionistas to collect from a galaxy far, far away. Three new dolls inspired by Rey, a Stormtrooper, and C-3PO (pictured above) are available for preorder from Entertainment Earth at $99.99 each. There is also a Chewbacca Barbie available from barbie.mattel.com for $150. All four dolls are expected to ship this summer.
Disney+ art and new avatars
In addition to the new Star Wars content headed to Disney+ today, the streaming service is getting some visual updates to celebrate May 4. All week, the site will feature Star Wars concept art on its home page (pictured, top) and the primary visual for all Star Wars titles will change to be an original concept painting.
There are also new Star Wars avatars available to set as user profile images, including Jabba the Hutt, D-0, and a porg.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga key art
Later this year, fans can get their hands on a massive LEGO Star Wars video game that features storylines from all nine movies in the Skywalker Saga. Today, TT Games revealed key art for the upcoming game and chatted with starwars.com about what fans can expect from this new game.

The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda are the most-searched Star Wars title and character, respectively, over the past year. (No shock there!) The most-searched question about the series, meanwhile, was “How many Star Wars movies are there?”
In case you were wondering, the top five most-searched Star Wars movies/shows this year were:
- The Mandalorian
- Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
- Solo: A Star Wars Story
- Star Wars: The Last Jedi
- Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
And the most-searched characters were:
- Baby Yoda
- Darth Vader
