The Fortnite craze is still going strong, and with season six introduces new items, new areas to get eliminated in, and PUPPIES!
Yup, that’s right. Users of the popular video game will now be able to journey through the Fortnite world with a pet that rides on the back of their avatar with the purchase of the battle pass. There’s a doggo (Bonesy), a dragon (Scales), and a chameleon (Camo) to join the adventures, and they react to different situations accordingly.
The new battle pass has 100 levels and more than 100 new rewards, available in-game for 950 V-Bucks. It comes with two exclusive outfits to dress for success—Calamity and DJ Yonder. There’s also a new enemy, Riot Husky, who found his way in from the storm.
The introduction of consumable shadow stones allows players to turn their avatar invisible to enemies when he or she stands still. Players become more visible when moving, leaving behind a shadow trail. Players can’t use their weapons when they’re in shadow form, but they can phase through objects. Shadow stones also increase movement speed, jump height, and fall damage immunity.
New locations to explore include Floating Island, Haunted Castle, corn fields, corrupted areas, and more to discover.
