Funko is granting some wishes this April with its newest Pops! With Purpose release.
The pop culture and lifestyle brand revealed a partnership with Make-A-Wish to help fulfill the wishes of kids with critical illnesses and to celebrate World Wish Day (April 29).
The collaboration includes a new line of Funko Pop! vinyl figures featuring an assortment of fan-favorite characters from Marvel, Disney, Lucasfilm, and Pixar. The collection includes Mickey Mouse (BoxLunch exclusive), Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh (Hot Topic exclusive), Cheshire Cat, Sulley, Spider-Man, Iron Man (funko.com exclusive), BB-8, and a Stormtrooper (GameStop exclusive).
These aren’t just regular vinyl figures: each character has received a blue-themed makeover. These Pops! With Purpose will include a charitable donation to Make-A-Wish with every purchase. In addition to the donations from sales, Funko will donate $150,000 to Make-A-Wish.
Funko is also teaming up with GameStop to host in-store activations for Make-A-Wish recipients nationwide in April. The Make-A-Wish Pops! With Purpose collection will be available to purchase at all major retailers from April 4 until World Wish Day on April 29.
