American Horror Story fans can face their fears at Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC)’s FX Fearless Forum. FX Networks is hosting an immersive horror experience at the American Horror Story: 1984 — Face the Darkness activation based on the ‘80s slasher theme of the ninth season, complete with night vision goggles to amp up the terror.
FX Fearless Forum will also feature activations including the What We Do in the Shadows Lair, the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Sunscreen Zone, and the Archer O2 Station. Fans can view a nightly projection-mapped gallery display highlighting FX Network’s programming with Insta-worthy visuals produced by FX Design in collaboration with Bartkresa studio.
FX Fearless Forum will take place at the Hilton Bayfront Park with the following hours:
- Thursday, July 17, noon.-6 p.m.;
- Friday, July 18, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.;
- Saturday, July 19, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and
- Sunday, July 20, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Fans can pre-register for an RFID badge, which is required to gain entry to the activation, on fxsdcc.com in advance (and on site). Registration and badge collection is required to check into and participate in activations.
