Ready for more monstrous fun? Ravensburger is expanding its Horrified game franchise with the launch of Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons – Ravenloft.
Those who are brave enough to play will step into the terrifying domain of Barovia to defeat four new foes. Up to five players must work together to face threats such as the vampire lord Strahd von Zarovich, the murderous doll Carrionette, the witch Baba Lysaga, and the sentient Gulthias Tree.
If Ravenloft sounds familiar, it’s because this horror setting is inspired by Dungeons & Dragons (D&D). Like its predecessor, Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons, this title features locations, heroes, and monsters from the role-playing game. Gameplay utilizes a D20 and features challenges that feel like a D&D campaign. Plus, players will play as one of five new Heroes, each inspired by D&D classes.
For more gameplay value, this title can be combined with Horrified: Dungeons and Dragons, Horrified: World of Monsters, and Horrified: Greek Monsters for more gameplay value — if you dare.
Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons – Ravenloft launches on July 19. If you’re on the edge of your seat, you can preorder the game at target.com. And be warned: more details about featured monsters and gameplay will be shared this summer.
