The new LEGO DC Super-Villains trailer revealed an entirely new character customization feature that puts players at the center of a villain-centric adventure across the DC universe. Mic, meet floor.
WB Games premiered the trailer at Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC), where it features the Justice Syndicate suddenly appearing on the scene, promising to bring peace to the world. The token bad guys see through their lies, which leads to the exile of the Justice League. As a result, they decide to step in and clean up the criminals themselves.
Fans at SDCC will get a chance to check out the new character creator feature, with a hands-on demo of the game at the LEGO, DC Comics, and the Warner Bros. booths. Additionally, the team behind LEGO DC Super-Villains will give SDCC attendees an inside look at the game on Friday, July 20 at 2:15 p.m. in Room 6A. This sneak peek will provide fans with character reveals and details about the story. If you’re not there, expect #FOMO to be on the horizon.
LEGO DC Super-Villains will be available on October 16 for PlayStation4, Xbox One X, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Players who purchase the game from specific retailers will also receive an exclusive gift, including a Harley Quinn Collectible SteelBook at GameStop, a Joker bag tag (Deluxe Edition) and Harley Quinn bag tag at Target, and a DC Super Heroes: TV Series Character Pack at Walmart.
