Ready, Player 1? The LEGO Group is pressing start on some serious ‘90s nostalgia with a brick-built re-creation of the original PlayStation.
Clocking in at 1,911 pieces, the LEGO PlayStation re-creates the console that helped define a generation of gaming at near 1:1 scale. The model pairs the PS1’s unmistakable gray silhouette with a buildable version of its original DualShock controller, which plugs into the front — just like the original! Fans can even hit tactile Open and Power buttons for an extra dose of retro realism.

But the real cheat code is hidden inside. Pop open the console to reveal detailed dioramas celebrating two classic PlayStation games: a miniature Gran Turismo track, complete with tiny cars ready to race, and a scene from Ape Escape, featuring one of the game’s signature monkey helmets. Fans can leave the dioramas tucked inside or pull them out for a next-level display.
