Ariana Grande’s new single, “thank u, next,” is blowing up the charts. More importantly, the internet is now filled with tons of tweets and memes with people quoting the No. 1 Spotify song.
Most people are tweeting the lyrics “one taught me love, one taught me patience, one taught me pain” with three photos relating it to pop culture references, such as characters from Friends, Sex and the City, and the Avengers.

Other people are responding with the phrase “thank u, next” to trolls or anyone trying to @ them. When Star Wars actor Mark Hamill tweeted “Thank you, next,” Ariana Grande herself retweeted it with the caption “I can’t breathe,” thinking he was quoting her song too.

When Hamill’s tweet went viral, he let the cat out of the bag that he wasn’t actually quoting her, along with the hashtag #ImSorryAri.
You know you're out of it when someone suggests you tweet what you think is just a random phrase that turns out to be the title of the new album by @ArianaGrande, one of the most popular artists in the history of showbiz. #ImSorryAri #ItsUnotYou https://t.co/0VztULKx3D

Grande took it in stride, responding with, “I’m gonna tattoo this to my forehead.”
