Starting today, McFarlane Toys changes the game by appointing Joshua Izzo as its new president. With this, Izzo will strengthen the company’s position in the global toy industry, drawing on nearly three decades of experience.
Joshua Izzo joins the McFarlane Toys team with experience in toys, licensing, entertainment, and franchise development. Prior to his new role, Izzo spent nearly a decade in senior leadership at James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment. There, he oversaw franchise strategy, new business development, and storytelling across the Avatar universe. He also worked closely with its creative, licensing, theatrical, and strategic partners.
Izzo also joins the company with prior experience at 20th Century Fox Consumer Products, Capcom Entertainment, Hasbro, and 4Kids Entertainment. With expertise in toy development, global licensing, and franchise management, Izzo will apply his knowledge in his role as president. Additionally, he will guide the company into its next chapter, strengthening its position in the toys and collectibles industry.
