The world may be post-apocalyptic, but at least you can still play Magic: The Gathering!

Wizards of the Coast is bringing yet another popular franchise into its iconic card game with a new set of Universes Beyond Commander decks. This time, the cards feature the Fallout video game series. The new decks will feature factions, mutants, and more, all recognizable to anyone who’s played the original games. So, make sure you’ve packed your RadAway for a Commander night full of Fallout fun!

This release will include four new decks. The Science! deck — in blue, white, and red — has Dr. Madison Li as its Commander and focuses on playing artifacts to generate energy. The Mutant Mayhem deck — in black, green, and blue — features everyone’s favorite Mothman leading the charge to buff creatures with counters and proliferate for even more.

Beloved companion Dogmeat commands the red, green, and white Scrappy Survivors deck, where players will scavenge for tokens and cover their creatures in Aurus and Equipment. Finally, the infamous Caesar leads the Hail, Caesar deck in red, white, and black, creating a full army of creature tokens to take down opponents.

Beyond the Commander cards, these decks will be full of Fallout flavor. Reminisce about your birthday party in Fallout 3, get frustrated all over again with encumbrance, or drop a menacing Deathclaw. Overall, the cards in these Commander decks will have you feeling like you’re playing through the game in a new way.

The decks also feature new, full-art lands, some with isometric environments like those seen in the series’ earlier games. The lands fully embrace the Fallout aesthetic and feature characters making their way through the Wasteland as they fight to survive this dystopian universe.

Finally, if you can’t get enough with just a preconstructed Commander deck, the new release also includes Collector Boosters. These boosters include art treatments you won’t see anywhere else. You can find your favorite Vault Boy featured in borderless card reprints or get a Pip-Boy art treatment of your chosen Commander and other key cards.

The new Magic: The Gathering Fallout Commander Decks will be available in March of next year. While you wait, you can replay your favorite video game series, plan the decks you’ll build for yourself around these new cards, and get excited about the upcoming Ixalan set. Planeswalk to the Wasteland and fight Fallout favorites with these new decks!
