No matter how far the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) have come, fans just can’t help themselves when it comes to revisiting the past.
The 1991 video game Turtles in Time is experiencing a Renaissance, and following its return on Arcade1Up’s TMNT arcade cabinet, the folks at NECA have turned their attention to the game to inspire a range of 7-inch-scale TMNT action figures.
Following the release of the first wave, NECA‘s TMNT Turtles in Time series two is on the way this May.
Available for preorder now via Entertainment Earth, the next assortment includes Michelangelo, Raphael, Leatherhead, and Super Shredder — each presented in premium, video game-inspired (pixelated!) deco. Michelangelo and Raphael include their signature weapons and a brand-new hoverboard with a display stand that can be used for maximum poseability. Leatherhead is packed with his throwing knife, and Super Shredder wields a beam sword and includes two different fire blast effects.
Each figure will come in a window box that features graphics from the arcade cabinet.
