Hasbro’s Life-Size Grogu Animatronic Is Too Cute to Resist

As The Mandalorian and Grogu reignites “Baby Yoda” fever worldwide, Hasbro is launching a hyper-realistic, 1:1-scale animatronic of the beloved Star Wars character. Whether you’re a sci-fi stan or building a cosmic cosplay, Ultimate Grogu is the droid you’re looking for. Fans can find this foundling online for $599.99. 

Ultimate Grogu is truly a bounty to behold. This collectible recreates the character in extreme detail, from his soft skin and life-like hair to his screen-accurate robe, satchel, and beskar armor. Despite standing only 14.6 inches tall, this figure packs a range of high-tech sensors and motors, allowing Grogu to respond in real time to touch, motion, and sound. He can cycle through three play modes with more than 250 animations and noises, including waving, giggling, waddling forward, blinking his eyes, opening his mouth, and even using the Force. 

Additional accessories include a grav charge detonator, which counts down with light and sound effects, and Grogu’s iconic blue macaroon from The Mandalorian. When Ultimate Grogu holds the treat in his hand, he can’t help but chow down, activating eating and burping noises — but watch out!
