It’s been 40 years since pop culture’s most gentle alien first warmed our hearts in Steven Spielberg’s E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. In celebration of the movie’s enduring legacy, game manufacturer Funko Games is “phoning home” with a new cooperative board game based on the film.

Officially revealed today at Toy Fair London, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial: Light Years From Home reimagines the iconic bicycle chase scene from the movie. Up to four players will race around the neighborhood using ramps and shortcuts in hopes of outrunning the federal agents bent on capturing E.T.

The game board features detailed illustrations and the game includes miniature figures that nod to the movie, including an E.T. figure that fits inside the kids’ bicycle basket.

E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial: Light Years From Home will be available to purchase this summer for $29.99 as part of Funko Games’ larger lineup of new gaming experiences. For more information on upcoming games, fans can head to funkogames.com
