Contestants, pack your bags and head to the island — or the living room. With the new Rabble game Lovestruck, you can participate in a reality TV-inspired search for love without leaving your house or making an appearance on everyone’s TV. The board game is currently available to preorder on Kickstarter.
The social deduction game is full of twists and turns, just like the seasons of dating-based reality TV shows you might binge, and your strategy can change as you date, break up, and make decisions based on yourself and other players.
Players can select a reality TV personality frequently seen on dating shows, including The Troublemaker, and The Party Animal. Players are dealt Intention cards that they must keep a secret: If you’re really searching for love in the game, you’re deemed as a contestant who’s there for the right reasons — if you just want to be famous, you’re there for the wrong reasons.
Each round is an episode, and different Action Cards help you move through the game. Players must take suspected Intentions, Viewership, and more into consideration.
There are different ways to win, all depending on who coupled up. At the end of the game, known as the Season Finale, true intentions will be revealed. If a couple with the Right Intentions ends up together, they win, and a couple with Wrong Intentions lose. If one person in the relationship has the Right Intentions and the other has the Wrong Intentions, only the Wrong Intentions player wins, since they stay relevant after the season ends. Different players can also win depending on Viewership.

The Double Date Bundle ($48) includes Lovestruck, an additional Rabble game, and Kickstarter upgrades such as wooden game pieces. The Villa Bundle ($70) and Complete Season Bundle ($90) include Lovestruck, the Kickstarter upgrades, and two and three additional Rabble games, respectively. The Producer Bundle ($125) includes everything in the Complete Season Bundle plus upgraded punchboard Intention cards, limited edition Rabble tote bag and stickers, Rabble team signature on games, and Producer credit on the Rabble website.
