Now here’s a collaboration that most would never have expected!

Last night, the Neopets team hosted a “Neopets Era Party” during Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC). During the event, attendees were treated to the first look at a video in which Grammy-winning musician John Legend expressed the love that he and his family share for Neopets while revealing that he’s joined the team as the official Neopets brand ambassador!

More Neopets news is on the horizon as the Neopets team plans to update more than 50 of the original flash games that it hosts on its website, all within the next week.

The addition of John Legend to the Neopets team is just the latest move as the company, under the guidance of new CEO Dominic Law, plans to bring the brand back to the mainstream in a big way, with games, merch, and a major sense of community.
