Listen up, Invincible fans! No more waiting around for new episodes to enjoy your favorite characters.

Instead, you can take matters into your own hands while the holiday season creeps up and add Invincible Presents: Atom Eve to your wishlist. Starting on Nov. 14, the video game will be available to play on Steam. Additional platforms will also be announced soon, so stay tuned if you’re a console gamer.

In the game — which is still designed to look like a visual novel like Invincible, where fans first met Atom Eve — players play as Eve, a powerful hero and beloved character from the series with the ability to change matter with her mind. Not only will players follow Atom Eve as she attacks her opponents and potentially (definitely) witnesses a mysterious green woman flying through the city, but they will also be transported to the character’s senior year of high school to make decisions as her.

But Invincible fans know that — aside from deciding whether or not to date hunky fellow superhero Rex or keep him in the friendzone — Atom Eve’s life is anything but ordinary as part of the “Teen Team” superhero team.

At New York City Comic Con (NYCC), the creative development team behind Invincible Presents: Atom Eve hosted a panel to give fans some insight into the new game. During the panel, Creative Director Jill Murray, Art Director Rossi Gifford, Franchise Creative Director Mike Rogers, Writer Mary Arroz, and Animation Director Lauren Lehmann discussed how they created the upcoming video game and how they approached creative direction, narrative, design, and art direction to adapt the comic book and animated series to yet another platform.

In the panel, they explained that the game will have all-new storylines for fans to enjoy and explore, as Invincible has already been adapted from comic books to an Amazon Prime series. “The game loosely sits around the events of season one and it focuses on sort of the early days of Atom Eve and her origins, but it doesn’t line up exactly,” Rogers says. “It’s its own thing.”

According tot he team, players can choose to have Eve go down the empath track, the creative track, or the firebrand track. The player literally has the power to take Eve’s decisions and personality in different directions.

“So, as the player goes through the story, Eve grows as a person and grows as a hero, and as a result, the player can allocate different parts of the skill tree,” Arroz says. “In that way, Eve is going to have exclusive combat abilities and perks depending on where the player is investing their points.”

If all of this intrigues you but you’re not yet an Invincible fan and haven’t read the comics or watched the series, don’t fret. You’ll still be able to enjoy this game, according to the creative team. They’ve made Eve into a “relatable” character who is easy for a variety of players to identify with.

“I think you sort of get a great introduction to her from the very start and you’ll really, really get to know her and who she is, then help shape who she becomes by the choices you can make,” Rogers says. “So I think it’s actually really easy if you haven’t seen the show, because it’s all through Atom’s eyes, and that’s not really an angle we’ve seen much of before this.”

As for those who are already fans, the reaction has been really positive, according to Rogers. “I think people clearly from the Amazon special want more Atom Eve,” he says. “It was exciting announcing this existed around the same time because there was so much chatter around Atom Eve on Twitter and X.”

The price for the game is also yet to be announced, but if you want to be the best friend/family member/partner/neighbor/cousin ever, add this to any comic book lovers’ gift list just in time for the holiday season.

You can sign up for game updates now at the official Invincible Presents: Atom Eve Steam page.
