This new board game is unstoppable. It’s downright Villainous!
Storytellers and board game lovers with an evil plan can look forward to Disney Villainous Unstoppable!, Ravenburger’s sequel to its Villanous game line. For the first time, this game has a shared gameplay board, despite 14 previous titles in the 2018 series.
Designed for 2-4 players, Disney fans choose from a cast of iconic Villains: Hades (Hercules), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), Scar (The Lion King), or Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) at the start of the game. All players must collect four tokens to complete their character’s evil plan, retelling Disney stories from the villain’s point of view. The first player to complete their evil plan, despite the meddling of Disney heroes, wins.
Unleashed on the game aisle seven years ago, Villainous features asymmetrical gameplay that’s ready to enjoy out of the box. Sequel titles feature stories from the Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel universes.
Board gamers can play Villainous tournaments this year at Gen Con in Indianapolis and PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia. Additional events are also planned in France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and Australia. Later this year, Ravensburger plans to introduce a yet-to-be-named live-action Disney Villain in its own Villainous game and a new Star Wars Villainous board game.
