Hey! Sorry, I know that last one was mean. But now that we’re friends again, we need to talk about how this week was huge in entertainment. Please emotionally prepare yourself for the purest thing you’ll see this week: Fab Five member Jonathan Van Ness finding out Queer Eye got nominated for four Emmy awards! JVN is a national treasure and we do not deserve him. Am I the only one crying?
Also, the #InMyFeelings challenge is apparently a thing now, a new dance craze started when Instagram comedian Shiggy was dancing to Drake’s song of the same name. I am wholeheartedly shook to my core at Will Smith destroying us all with his interpretation. This is so weird because this was the same exact thing I had planned for my version of it, so it looks like I suddenly have some free time this weekend.
Today is also Friday the 13th! Spooky scary! Don’t worry, the only chilling thing about this day is that I just paid my credit card bill. Ouch, that got a little real. Let’s stop thinking about that—and get to it.

Lindsay Lohan is not reprising her role as Casey, but Francia Raisa is joining the cast. This is the best news ever, and I officially have something to look forward to. We have a World Cup finals, people!
This has been the craziest World Cup in a looooong time. Favorites left early, newbies surprised everyone, and you think a match is going to end one way, but is then totally different than you thought it would be. But doesn’t the unpredictability make it more exciting? Even though I did declare this World Cup dead to me a few weeks ago (don’t @ me), at the end of the day, this month-long event is so special because it brings the whole world together. Picture “We Are One” vibes from The Lion King 2. This Sunday, France will take on Croatia, and I can already tell you that this match will have fans of both sides on their feet the entire time.
Antoni Insta-stalks the Fab Five.
Queer Eye’s Antoni, my sweet little angel baby, is serving some serious love/shade for his cast mates in Elle’s final installment the squad Insta-stalking each other. I learned things that I probably shouldn’t know, like that he can unwrap a Starburst in his mouth and that his nipples are very sensitive. I don’t know what to do with this information. Also, someone needs to do a tally of who posts the most thirst traps. If you didn’t watch the other videos yet, what are you waiting for?!

Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman graced us with a crafting pun-off for their Making It series. I would do literally anything to be able to sit down with both of them and do this because I am the kween of bad puns. Life’s a stitch, and then you die. Iconic.
Netflix dominated Emmy noms.
For the first time ever, Netflix got 112 Emmy nominations—a big flippin’ deal because it’s the first time that a streaming subscription beat a network in nominations for the award. HBO follows with 108 and NBC with 78. This just proves that everything Netflix is doing is working, including pumping out all of this quality original content that everyone is obsessed with (see Antoni video above).

The Biebs is engaged.
Justin Bieber confirmed that he is engaged to Hailey Baldwin on his Instagram account with a cute (?) and lengthy message. It might be just me, but I feel like this came out of nowhere. It feels like just yesterday that the singer was getting arrested for drag racing. Sigh, how the time passes! Cheers to the happy couple that is “GONNA BE BETTER AT 70 BABY!”

We got great new music.
Literally out of nowhere, twenty one pilots broke its year-long silence with two new songs, an album announcement, and a world tour (catch ya girl at the Madison Square Garden date). Ominous. This same week, Childish Gambino also dropped two songs. Is releasing two songs at once the new thing? I am all about it.
We’re getting more trash TV.
Thank you, Hallmark, for having me covered during the holiday season when I am sitting in fetal position in bed with a tub of ice cream. The network is adding TWO (!) new Christmas movies to its slate of content this year, bringing up the total to a whopping 36 Christmas movies. I can’t wait to clog my DVR with all of these terrible, amazing movies.

Cardi B gave birth to a baby girl this week, named Kulture Kiari Cephus. Her and baby daddy Offset shared the news on their Instagram accounts with gorgeous photos of Cardi B when she was pregnant. Welcome to the fam, Kulture!
