An all-new adventure featuring DC’s most-powerful heroine, Wonder Woman: Bloodlines from DC Universe and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, is heading home.
The new feature-length animated film soars into homes beginning on Oct. 5 on digital, and on 4K ultra HD combo pack ($39.99) and Blu-ray Combo Pack on Oct. 22 ($24.98).
The flick follows Amazonian Princess Diana (voiced by Rosario Dawson) as she saves fighter pilot Steve Trevor and attempts to return him home to America. As the protector of Earth, Diana makes it her mission to help a troubled girl enlisted in the deadly organization Villainy Inc., which wants to invade her home island.
“Wonder Woman has been inspiring fans for generations, and Wonder Woman: Bloodlines will further stoke that flame with an action-packed adventure that offers new and cherished characters from across Diana’s impressive comics history,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment vice president of family & animation marketing, in a statement.
The DVD also features a number of special features, including the Death animated short starring Jamie Chung, a featurette on Wonder Woman’s enemy the Cheetah, and a preview at the upcoming Superman: Red Son movie.
