It’s official: Game of Thrones is heading back to Hall H at this year’s Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC), despite airing its final episode last month.
HBO confirmed that Thrones, along with Westworld and His Dark Materials, will have panels at this year’s con. The network also teased a Watchmen activation outside of the con, somewhere in the Gaslamp Quarter.
The GoT panel is set for Friday, July 19, at 5:30 p.m. The panel includes cast members Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei of Naath), Iain Glen (Ser Jorah Mormont), Conleth Hill (Varys), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark). Other panelists include creators and showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss and director/executive producer Miguel Sapochnik. The corresponding autograph signing will be at 3:30 p.m. the same day.
His Dark Materials — an upcoming show inspired by Philip Pullman’s fantasy trilogy — will take the Hall H stage on Thursday, July 18, at 4:45 p.m. The panel will include James McAvoy (Lord Asriel), Dafne Keen (Lyra), Lin-Manuel Miranda (Lee Scoresby), Jane Tranter (executive producer), and Ruth Wilson (Mrs. Coulter). The corresponding autograph signing will be at 2:45 p.m. the same day.
Lastly, the Westworld panel will be in Hall H on Saturday, July 20, at 1:15 p.m. The panel features Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy (creators, executive producers, and directors) and cast members Ed Harris, Thandie Newton, Aaron Paul, Tessa Thompson, Evan Rachel Wood, and Jeffrey Wright. The corresponding autograph signing will be at 11:45 a.m. the same day.
All HBO autograph sessions will be held at the DC Warner Bros. booth (No. 4545).
