Yu-Gi-Oh! fans are in for a treat this fall! The Museum of the Moving Image (MoMI) is hosting a Yu-Gi-Oh! Day on Oct. 5, and it’ll be an awesome celebration of the franchise that you won’t want to miss.
Organized by Visitors Services Associate John Andrade, the museum will host a screening of the film Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions at the Redstone Theater at 6 p.m. The film serves as the epilogue to the original manga series, focusing on an epic all-or-nothing battle between Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba to determine who is the true King of Games. Fans of the series can also look forward to some free-to-attend pre-screening events at the Digital Learning Suite at 12 p.m., including tabletop gaming sessions, panel discussions, and a meet-and-greet with the voice actors for the American dub of the film.
Tickets for the screening are now available on the Museum of the Moving Image’s website. They cost $15 for adults, $11 for students and seniors, and $9 for kids ages 3-17. If you have a museum membership, you’re in luck: the screening is free for senior/student-level members and above!
Be sure to secure your spot soon, or else you may find yourself doomed to the Shadow Realm—just kidding, but you’ll definitely get some major FOMO from not being there.
