They say absence makes the heart grow fonder.
After a three-year hiatus, Square Enix will bring a showcase to E3, and we expect it’ll be a doozy. Instead of a run-of-the-mill press conference in a stuffy auditorium, the entire showcase will be streamed live for all to watch near, far, wherever you are.
The presentation will be filmed ahead of time in both English and Japanese and will be free to stream live (with no signups) on Facebook, Mixer, Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube. It will also be archived and available for viewing after the event. Square Enix is intent on avoiding lineup spoilers, but they noted that the presentation will “connect you to the many worlds within our universe.”
The event will take place on June 11 at 10 a.m. PT, which is way before the company’s biggest games, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Kingdom Hearts 3 are set to release, so fans are expecting some news about those highly-anticipated ventures, among others.
