In case you missed it, everyone’s favorite 8-bit plumber is turning 35 this year, and Amazon has teamed up with Nintendo to celebrate this milestone anniversary for Super Mario Bros.
The online retailer has a new, themed landing page that is set up as a timeline of different Super Mario releases, starting in 1985 and going up through next year. The more recent releases (Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros., and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury all feature purchase or “learn more” links.
There’s also a new Amazon Super Mario Bros. 35th mission available on the My Nintendo Missions platform, which will earn players 100 Platinum Points for their My Nintendo account.
Finally, throughout the rest of this year, some Amazon shoppers will recieve their orders in special Mario-themed boxes (pictured, top). The bright red boxes will feature three different versions of Mario from over the years, and will be used at random.
