Some of the original cast of the 1990s show Beverly Hills, 90210 will reunite for another round of love triangles and drama, according to Deadline.
Multiple buyers are interested in the reboot, which is shopping around for different broadcast and streaming networks, sources said.
The reboot will have Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green, and Gabrielle Carteris return either to TV or streaming networks. Hopefully, the style trends they made popular—side burns, Dr. Martens, and chokers—will also make an appearance for some added nostalgia.
The upcoming show, which is the work of writers/executive producers Mike Chessler and Chris Alberghini, along with CBS TV Studios’ Ghen Maynard, aims to bring a twist to the traditional reboot.
Chessler and Alberghini both worked on the five-season 90210 reboot on The CW, which ran from 2008 to 2013, and the sitcom So Notorious starring Spelling.
Spelling teased about the reboot in an Instagram post from March. The show was early on in development at CBS TV Studios at the time.
