Cinderella

In honor of Cinderella’s 70th anniversary next year, the Disney classic was inducted into the National Film Registry. To celebrate, Walt Disney Studios and the Library of Congress held a VIP ball last night at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C., which included a screening, a presentation, and a special appearance by the Disney princess.

Dr. Carla Hayden, 14th Librarian of Congress, presented the film’s official certificate that inducted Cinderella into the National Film Registry to Mary Walsh, Managing Director of the Animation Research Library at Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Cinderella: Anniversary Edition is now available on digital and Movies Anywhere. The new release will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on June 25.
