Grab a wumpa fruit and sit down, because this is a big one!
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Crash Bandicoot, Activision Blizzard announced that the long-awaited fourth chapter in the beloved marsupial’s saga will be released for PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch next month.
Fans waited 10 years for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time before its release last September for the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 4 Pro, the Xbox One, and the Xbox One X. The game has received positive feedback for its massive levels, the fun-but-evil bosses, and the extensive update to the gameplay.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time follows Crash and his sister Coco as they recover the Quantum Masks. Players must collect all-powerful items to stop the evil Doctor Neo Cortex and Doctor Nefarious Tropy from taking over the multiverse.
Game developer Toys for Bob prepared the game for next-gen consoles with years of work. The game will run in 4K at 60 frames per second and will feature 3D audio for a more immersive gaming experience.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is out on March 12 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S ($59.99) and the Nintendo Switch ($39.99). Crash fans should keep an eye out throughout this year for more anniversary surprises from Activision Blizzard!
