Scholastic released its U.S. cover and Little, Brown released its UK cover for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: The Journey, the official behind-the-scenes book about the production of the Harry Potter play.
The book gives fans an insider look at the play, including the earliest phases of development with producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender; the creation of the eighth story with J. K. Rowling, director John Tiffany, and playwright Jack Thorne; and the story of the artists and actors who helped make it all happen.
The book will release on Oct. 31 in the UK and on Nov. 5 in the U.S. It is available for preorder now, with an e-book edition also available from Pottermore Publishing.
Fans can catch a live performance of the play in London, New York, and Melbourne, with shows opening in San Francisco in October, a German-language production opening in Hamburg next Spring, and in Toronto next fall. Visit the official website for more information.
