As any good Disney lover knows, this is a very magical year: It’s a D23 Expo year! From Aug. 23 to 25, Disney fans will descend on the Anaheim Convention Center for a weekend of all things Disney. There are plenty of panels and events, but there’s also a LOT of exclusive merch available that will have fans immediately reaching for their wallets.
Today, Disney released sneak peek images of some of this year’s exclusive merch, including products from shopDisney.com (Disney Store), the Dream Store, and Mickey’s of Glendale.
ShopDisney.com will have new product for its Designer Collection, specifically the Midnight Masquerade Series, which includes doll sets, stationery, mug and plate sets, and more. The Legacy Collection will also expand to include merch to celebrate some Disney milestone anniversaries, including Donald Duck’s 85th, Silly Symphony’s 90th, The Lion King‘s 25th, and The Little Mermaid‘s 30th. The Backstage Collection features products that give a behind-the-scenes look into Disney•Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Walt Disney Animation Studios. There are also new Mickey Mouse Shufflers, which highlight Mickey through the years and “shuffle” when you press the top 10 times.
The Dream Store is full of new clothing and accessory lines, including Dapper Dan’s and Mickey Balloons collections, along with official D23 Expo gear.
Mickey’s of Glendale, the Walt Disney Imagineering store, will return with two stores for three days only: Mickey’s of Glendale Main Store — which will feature exclusive merch designed by Imagineers — and Mickey’s of Glendale Pin Store.
