There’s a lot of news right now about next month’s Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC), but another exciting fan event is right around the corner: D23 Expo. In addition to an exciting animation presentation, Disney has revealed some other details about what fans can expect at the expo, which will be in Anaheim, California, from Aug. 23-25.

This year’s D23 Expo will be the first to incorporate Disney‘s recently acquired Fox properties, including everyone’s favorite Springfield residents. There will be a The Simpsons panel on the schedule at the expo, on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. The panel is set to include Creator Matt Groening, Executive Producer Al Jean, Executive Producer Matt Selman, Supervising Director Mike B. Anderson, and stars Nancy Cartwright and Yeardley Smith. Fans will also find an exclusive Simpsons collectible at the expo, and they can meet the entire panel during a one-hour autograph signing session the same day.

For those more musically inclined, Disney Music Emporium is set to return to D23 Expo with a pop-up store on the show floor. Not only will the shop offer 10 Disney albums on sale for the first time, but it will also host autograph sessions with Disney musicians including:

  • Randy Newman (composer for Toy Story films, The Princess and the Frog, Cars films)
  • Tyler Bates (composer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1)
  • Anthony Gonzalez (voice of Miguel from Coco)
  • Matthew Morrison (Glee)
  • JD McCrary (voice of young Simba in The Lion King)

The Disney Channel will also have a presence at the expo, with a lineup of current stars that kids and families will love. But more importantly, fans can get their hands on limited-edition shirts featuring Disney Channel classics, such as High School Musical, Hannah Montana, and Camp Rock. The collection will be available for purchase exclusively at the Walt Disney Television booth.

Stay tuned for more D23 Expo announcements as they come!
