How strong is your Disney fandom?
ShopDisney recently launched the Disney Backstage collection, a subscription-based service for fans to celebrate the heritage and roots of The Walt Disney Co. Disney dug deep into the archives to make sure all of the designs featured on the limited-edition merch are based on forgotten stories and lost art.
Each month, subscribers will receive a mystery canister with a limited-release T-shirt, pin, and other surprises. Every reveal will be top secret and shared only with subscribers, but we’ve got the deets on the first release.
The first canister, appropriately dubbed the Welcome Canister, is a throwback to the early beginnings of Disney Bros. Studios — a time before Mickey Mouse even existed. Subscribers will receive a T-shirt with a “Disney Bros. Studio” logo, a collectible Disney pin that compliments the story on the tee, a behind-the-scenes story card, and the retro-inspired keepsake container.
Disney Backstage Collection releases will be available in the U.S. for $34.99 a month, and will no longer be available once they’re retired. Click here to subscribe!
