As the release date for the new Disney+ streaming platform inches closer, Disney has revealed a budget-saving bundle to save your wallet, along with an impressive collection of new projects that make it all worthwhile.
While many of us end up paying for multiple streaming and subscription services individually, Disney is here to tempt you into changing your ways. Just yesterday, the Mouse House confirmed a bundle that will include subscriptions of Disney+, Hulu (with ads), and ESPN+ for one affordable price of $12.99 per month, according to Deadline. Considering we already pay for these services (and others) for nearly the same price individually, this is a good deal!
With a budget-friendly option for streaming all of your favorite programs, Disney is ensuring its platform is the place to go for binge-watching, which will also include new reboots of beloved programs. Now that Disney has merged with Fox, it is planning four reboots of iconic franchises from Fox’s library, as reported by Deadline. New rebooted versions of Home Alone, Night At the Museum, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Cheaper By the Dozen are in the works to be “reimagined for a new generation.”
These new versions will join the new Fox slate of Avatar, Planet of the Apes, X-Men, and Deadpool projects, as well as Disney’s new Lady and the Tramp live-action update.
