Get ready to unleash your inner Disney nerd, battling as princesses and villains alike in the upcoming mobile game Disney Sorcerer’s Arena, from Glu Mobile.
Set for beta release in limited territories soon, the game features an RPG world where players battle using classic Disney and Pixar characters.
In the the game, players collect an arsenal of champions and villains to take on opponents in single-player and player-versus-player modes. Each character features their own abilities and magical spells — players train the characters to their full potential and compete to become the mightiest sorcerer. Players can complete daily quests and events to earn rewards and upgrades, and collect talismans.
Today, Glu Mobile released the first footage from the game in an epic 30-second trailer. Based on the trailer, the game will feature a wide variety of villains and heroes. The trailer alone features Jafar and Iago, Captain Hook, Syndrome, and Oogie Boogie facing off, interrupted by Sully, a trident-wielding Ariel, and Sorcerer Mickey. And if you look close enough at the background, it seems that Elastagirl, Aladdin, Robin Hood, Buzz, and Jack Skellington aren’t far behind.
