This fall (or should I say autumn?), fans can finally return to the Edwardian English country, the turn of the 20th century, and — most importantly — the Crawley family. The Downton Abbey movie is on its way, and Focus Features released four new character posters today to promote it.
The posters each feature the line “We’ve been expecting you” and the movie title at the bottom. None of the characters’ full faces are entirely visible, but three of the posters are clearly Barrow, Edith, and Mary. The fourth is a bit trickier, but it is most likely Andrew (“Andy”) Parker, who joined Downton Abbey as a footman in the sixth series. While actor Michael Fox, who played Andy, isn’t on the official cast list, he tweeted the character posters from his personal account.
All four characters are, of course, dressed to impress. Downton Abbey’s footman and butler are both wearing tuxedos, polishing silverware and a crystal glass, respectively. The women are both at the height of ‘20s fashion in beaded gowns, elbow-length gloves, and beautiful jewelry.
Downton Abbey will debut in theaters September 20. Check out the previously released teaser trailer here and all of the posters below:
