It’s the crossover of a lifetime — at least that’s how long my campaigns feel.
Mythic Odysseys of Theros will bring the world of Magic: The Gathering to Dungeons & Dragons as the setting of a brand-new D&D campaign set in the Magic plane of Theros. This summer, players will challenge the gods by wielding supernatural weapons and abilities aligned with one of Theros’ 15 Greek mythology-inspired gods.
The Magic-based sourcebook will introduce new races and subclasses on an epic odyssey that will face them against mythical monsters and unknown challenges.
The game is the second crossover to come from Wizards of the Coast, the brand behind Magic: The Gathering and D&D, plus a number of other strategy and role-playing games, such as Duel Masters and items from Avalon Hill.
Game stores across the country will offer the game with an exclusive, alternative cover design by Kevin Tong (pictured above, right). Mythic Odysseys of Theros will be available on June 2 for $49.95.
