Well, that didn’t take long.
Avengers: Endgame is heading back to theaters on June 28. This announcement came from Kevin Feige himself, speaking to promote Spider-Man: Far From Home, which comes out only four days after the Endgame re-release, on July 2.
Apparently, this time around there will be a post-credits scene, along with a “tribute” and other new footage. (Because three hours just isn’t long enough!) However, according to Feige, this isn’t going to be an “extended cut.”
This is 100% a shameless bid to gross the additional $45 million that Endgame needs to surpass Avatar as the highest-grossing movie of all time. But will that stop us from buying tickets? Definitely not.
