Following the Endgame world premiere on Tuesday night, the first reviews of the three-hour superhero epic have started appearing online on Rotten Tomatoes.
Thankfully, for fans anxiously awaiting the movie’s theatrical debut tomorrow night, the feedback is overwhelmingly positive.
As of this morning, April 24, the movie had a 97% certified fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes. Of the 118 posted reviews, only four are negative.
The official Critics Consensus on the site reads: “Exciting, entertaining, and emotionally impactful, Avengers: Endgame does whatever it takes to deliver a satisfying finale to Marvel’s epic Infinity Saga.”
On IMDb, the movie has an average 9.4/10 star rating. However, it is highly unlikely that the more than 8,500 users who rated the movie have all actually seen it, so take that one with a grain of salt.
Some other (spoiler-free) critic feedback from the movie is that it is emotional, has a satisfying conclusion, and is full of fan-service moments.
Is anyone else feeling unprepared for this?
Endgame finally arrives in theaters everywhere this Friday, April 26.
