For the first time ever, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch players can purchase Final Fantasy games for their systems.

This April, Square Enix will release Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age for both systems. Originally released in 2001 and 2006, respectively, the games are currently only available for PlayStation systems and on PC platforms. The HD remaster for Final Fantasy X / X-2 includes both Final Fantasy X and its sequel, which takes place two years later.

To accompany the announcement, Square Enix also released new Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age artwork by Akihiko Yoshida.

Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age will be available for the new platforms starting April 16 and Final Fantasy X / X-2 Digital Remaster on April 30.
