If there’s one glimmer of hope in the dim future, it’s Robert Pattinson’s shiny, beefed-up Batman suit gleefully blinding us all. Today, we were offered a glimpse into that future.
Director Matt Reeves shared a first look at Battinson, America’s new sweetheart, in a one-minute camera test to his Twitter feed. The camera glides dreamily through a dim room as a chiseled chest, bathed in a red glow, comes into focus below the razor-sharp jawline and unmistakable smolder of the world’s most-handsome man alive: Robert Pattinson. There’s also some Bat stuff.

With Zoë Kravitz, Colin Farrell, and Jeffrey Wright involved, this is going to be the world’s sexiest superhero movie ever. (Also, Paul Dano will be present).
The Batman is expected to be released on June 25, 2021.
