In anticipation of Fox’s live musical event this winter, the network revealed the new stars taking on the iconic roles from the Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, Rent.
Jordan Fisher, who is a Disney star and played Doody in NBC’s Grease Live, takes on the role of narrator Mark, while musician Brennin Hunt (Walking With Herb) will play his roommate Roger.

High School Musical’s Vanessa Hudgens (who also starred in Grease Live as Rizzo) will show off her pipes as Maureen, with Kiersey Clemons (Hearts Beat Loud, Transparent, Easy) taking on the character of her girlfriend Joanne.
Additional members of the cast include Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert’s Brandon Victor Dixon as Tom Collins, RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Valentina as Angel, singer Mario (Empire) as Benjamin Coffin III, Tinashe as Mimi, and The Greatest Showman’s Keala Settle. Settle will perform the iconic track, “Seasons of Love.”

Rent tells the story of a group of impoverished young artists struggling to pursue their dreams in New York City’s East Village during the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
The live musical production of Rent airs Sunday, January 27 at 7 p.m. on Fox.
