Freeform is dedicating all of September to Disney with a plan for 30 days of Disney programming all month long.
Viewers can expect a different theme each week. Check out the schedule below.
- The week of Sept. 2 is “Villains Week,” with classics including Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Maleficent.
- The week of Sept. 9 is all about pirates, featuring the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
- Sept. 16 marks the start of “Singalong Week,” including The Princess and the Frog, High School Musical, Newsies: The Broadway Musical, and more. Selected movies will feature on-screen lyrics to make it more fun for viewers at home.
- The week of Sept. 23 is all about “Sheroes,” including Moana, Zootopia, and more.
Iron Man and Pete’s Dragon will also premiere on Freeform for the first time throughout the 30 days, in addition to a special airing of the Disney Channel original movie Descendants 3.
The month will end with a BTS look at the new Star Wars lands at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California with a two-hour special, titled “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge — Adventure Awaits,” on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m. EDT. Neil Patrick Harris will host the special, which will feature appearances by Keegan-Michael Key, Sarah Hyland, Jay Leno, and Kaley Cuoco.
