This year officially marks four decades since the world got its first look at Camp Crystal Lake and Jason Voorhees in the original Friday the 13th. To commemorate the classic horror film’s milestone anniversary, there is a special-edition Steelbook edition of the movie available from Amazon.
The metal Steelbook cover features a chilling illustration on the front and the quote “Kill her mommy, kill her,” on the back. While the case alone is enough to make this a must-buy for horror fans, the Blu-ray disc itself includes an uncut edition of the movie. Yes, that means unrated footage, along with lots of bonus features and a digital edition of the movie.
Fans can preorder the 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Steelbook now for $14.99. It is set to ship on May 5 — less than three months to wait!
