Boston: known for its baked beans, marathons, and now for the nostalgia-packed Friends 25th Anniversary Pop-Up! Following its wildly successful New York debut in September, “The One with the Pop-Up” is coming to the City of Champions. Friends fans can flash back to 1994 to experience some of the series’ most hilarious moments.
The retro pop-up displays perfect set re-creations, with more than 50 original props from the show. If anyone misses the ‘90s, this’ll be the best space to collect some Friends-style pics for the ‘Gram. Looking to stick a turkey on your head? Get into the spirit of the fall season and peek through Rachel and Monica’s purple door, or relax on Chandler and Joey’s recliner after playing some foosball. The pop-up will impress any Friends fan, or anyone craving a ‘90s throwback.
Visitors can also sit in for a special Friendsgiving event on Thursday, Nov 28! For $55, fans can enjoy a Thanksgiving-themed pop-up that features iconic Friends-themed delicacies to really make you a part of the show. Fans can even celebrate New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day in fandom heaven with Friends merch and themed food.
The pop-up will show a re-created Central Perk in all its New York glory. From the legendary orange couch to a food and beverage experience, guests can sip, snack, and discuss whether or not custard, jam, and meat belong in a trifle. As an added bonus, college students with a valid student ID will receive a 10% discount on food, beverages, and merchandise.
The pop-up also includes a Friends retail store that opens on Nov. 21 and runs through Jan. 5.
The immersive pop-up experience, created by Superfly, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, and Warner Bros. Television Group, will be located in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood at 401 Park on the corner of Brookline Avenue and Fullerton Street. Want to get in on the action?
