Forget the multiverse — today is all about the Funkoverse!
Funko is making its board game debut with Pop! Funkoverse, which officially went live for preorder today on Entertainment Earth. The light strategy games pit fan-favorite characters (in their Funko Pop! form, of course) head to head with in-game scenarios. The game is designed for two players or for teams.
There are six versions of the game to collect in all, featuring four different fandoms.
There are two “game base” sets, which each come with four figures and cost $39.99. The DC 100 Strategy Game (pictured above) includes the Joker, Harley Quinn, Batgirl, and Batman. The Harry Potter 100 Strategy Game comes with Lord Voldemort, Bellatrix Lestrange, Hermione Granger, and Harry Potter. Both games feature four scenarios and move through familiar locations from the franchises.
There are also four “expandalone” versions of the game which, as the name suggests, can be played as a separate game or mixed with other FunkoVerse games. They each feature four additional game scenarios and two Pop! figures, and they cost $24.99. Check them out below!
