Originally announced earlier this year, the interactive experience is now officially available to play in more than 450 arcade locations across 42 countries. This new game gives fans of the 1984 classic the chance to follow in the footsteps of Peter, Ray Egon, and Winston as they operate the iconic ghost-hunting equipment. The newest recruits to the Ghostbusters Academy can play through two separate Hologate platforms: Hologate Arena and Hologate Blitz.

New academy members can grab their proton packs and team up with their ghost-hunting crew in the Hologate Arena title to learn the ghost-capturing ropes, while players who choose the Hologate Blitz VR motion simulator will get the thrill of racing on the academy’s prototype ECTO hovercraft — the perfect vehicle for tracking down ghosts at supersonic speed. As players stamp out all the ectoplasmic disturbances, they’ll be delighted to see some of the most iconic characters, like Slimer and the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, throughout their gaming experience.

Fans who are up for the challenge can visit hologate.com/locations to find the nearest Hologate arcade. Additional details about the VR experience are also available at hologate.com.  Hope you ‘ain’t afraid of no ghosts!’
