Warner Bros. announced today that the world’s first official Harry Potter flagship store will open in New York City, and I already have my shopping list.
“This will be the largest dedicated Harry Potter store in the world and will become a must-visit fan destination where Harry Potter enthusiasts can engage with interactive experiences and numerous photo opportunities as they step into the magic,” says Sarah Roots, the senior vice president of worldwide tours and retail.
The store will be housed in a 20,000-square-foot space just steps from the iconic Flatiron building in lower Manhattan. Shoppers can pretend they’re in Diagon Alley with magical items from Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts, such as personalized robes, Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans, and a brand-new range of wands designed exclusively with the New York location in mind.
