Fans of Harry Potter have a new chance to explore Hogwarts and see what it would be like if their letter didn’t get lost in the mail.

Harry Potter: House Cup Competition from The Op will fly onto shelves this summer and gives players a chance to win the coveted House Cup by earning points for their knowledge. Ten points to Gryffindor for existing!

Players take on the roles of three wizards at Hogwarts whose goal is to gain knowledge from their classes that include Charms, Potions, and Defense Against the Dark Arts (let’s hope the curse of evil professors has been broken). Bring glory to your house by completing and overcoming challenges through the magic of your knowledge.

Two to four players compete in 75 minutes or more of gameplay. Of course, to attend Hogwarts you must be at least 11 years old. The game includes the board, each house’s common room, as well as all the tokens, gems, and cards needed to play. No Sorting Hat is included so you’ll have to look within to discover your true house (or head to Pottermore).

As a kid, Nicole either wanted to be a professional toy player-wither or a writer. Somehow, as social media editor for The Toy Insider, The Toy Book, and The Pop Insider, she’s found a career as both. She's grateful to work somewhere that she can fully embrace both her love of teddy bears and her admiration for the Oxford comma. When she's not playing with toys at work, she's playing with her baby girl at home.
