It’s been 20 years since Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone premiered and the cast is here to prove there’s no place like Hogwarts.
Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson will reunite for the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special, which will stream on HBO Max starting on Jan. 1. They’ll also be joined by Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, and director Christopher Columbus.
Together they’ll embark down Privet Drive memory lane and celebrate the lasting legacy of the Harry Potter films. The special will also feature looks behind the scenes, in-depth interviews, never-before-seen clips, special guests, and surprises.
The magical special will take place in the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London — The Making of Harry Potter (because Hogsmead was booked). For those looking to get the party started early, the 20th-anniversary content hub on wizardingworld.com is full of features, quizzes, and more.
Fans can also check out the Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses trivia contest later this month for a chance to test their Wizarding World knowledge. To go with the show, fans can play along with a new online quiz every Friday from Nov. 26-Dec. 10 on the Wizarding World website. The winner (aka the Hermione of Harry Potter quizzes) will be named on Dec. 20.
The magic is just beginning!
