Game of Thrones

We are all collectively dreading May 19, also known as the day Game of Thrones will end.

However, HBO is giving us a little bit more Westeros-themed content to look forward to after the finale: a behind-the-scenes documentary called Game of Thrones: The Last Watch. The documentary will debut at 9 p.m. ET on May 26, one week after the finale, on HBO. It will also be available on HBO Now, HBO Go, and HBO On Demand.

Jeanie Finlay will direct the two-hour documentary which, according to HBO, takes a look at the making of the show’s final season and is “an up-close and personal report from the trenches of production.”

HBO says it may be an emotional ride for fans, too: “Much more than a ‘making of’ documentary, this is a funny, heartbreaking story, told with wit and intimacy, about the bittersweet pleasures of what it means to create a world — and then have to say goodbye to it.”

Get your tissues ready! The final season of Game of Thrones premieres on April 14.
