Hero Collector already offers an impressive fleet of Star Trek merch, ranging from books and an advent calendar to subscription model building kits and plenty of die-cast ships. Now, the company is adding to its galaxy of collectibles with a new Star Trek Starships Collection.
This new collection will eventually feature die-cast models of more than 60 Starfleet ships, but the initial launch will include the U.S.S Enterprise NCC-1701-D, the U.S.S. Defiant NX-74205, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656, and the Enterprise NX-01.
Each ship in this collection will come with a base and stand for display and a magazine featuring a detailed profile of the ship and behind-the-scenes information about its creation, such as original sketches and designer interviews. All of the Starfleet Starships models are designed to be as screen-accurate as possible — featuring ships from the original series, the first 10 films, and through to the present day — with hand-painted details. The ships will all be developed at the same scale, too, in order to maintain collection compatibility.
Collectors can choose to sign up for a monthly subscription of starships or purchase these ships individually from the Eaglemoss shop.
